About

Dr. Radic obtained a B.Sc. in Marine Science and Physics in 2004 from the University of Miami, and then continued on to medical school, completing her MD degree at Queen’s University, Kingston, in 2008. She completed her neurosurgery residency training at Dalhousie University in April 2015, and she completed a Masters of Public Health at Harvard School of Public Health, with a quantitative methods concentration, in May 2013. Dr. Radic then completed her fellowship training in pediatric neurosurgery at BC Children’s Hospital (BCCH) in Vancouver, and is ABPNS board eligible. She subsequently worked as a locum pediatric neurosurgeon at BCCH until August 2017. Dr. Radic started her current position as a staff pediatric and general adult neurosurgeon at Royal University Hospital (RUH) in October 2017, and at Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital (JPCH) when it opened in September 2019. Dr. Radic’s clinical area of interest and focus is pediatric neurosurgery, though she also provides general adult neurosurgery services as well. Academically, Dr. Radic is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Saskatchewan. She is the Canadian Pediatric Neurosurgery Study Group’s Choosing Wisely Canada campaign lead, and she also has academic interests in quality improvement, ethics, surgical education and clinical research.
