Undergraduate Medical Teaching

To learn about opportunities in undergraduate medical teaching please contact Dr. Greg Malin, Academic Director, UGME Program, or one of the local UGME offices in Saskatoon, Regina or Prince Albert.

There will also be UGME teaching opportunities through each department and can be accessed through the departmental UGME coordinators.

Pre-Clerkship Teaching Opportunities

Teaching for Undergraduate Medical Education offers physicians a unique opportunity to shape the next generation of medical professionals. By engaging in small group sessions, case-based learning, and Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs), physicians can share their expertise and experiences, fostering a deeper understanding of clinical and communication skills among students. Additionally, early patient contact and diverse teaching methods provide a dynamic and fulfilling environment for physicians to contribute to advancing medical education and practice.

Postgraduate Medical Teaching

Contact the PGME office for each department for specific information related to teaching opportunities.
