The Division of Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery provides comprehensive service for adults and children with common and complex diseases of the ear, nose and throat.  The spectrum of clinical interest and expertise includes head and neck oncology, surgery of the parotid and thyroid glands, sinus surgery, vocal rehabilitation and otology.

Our multidisciplinary approach to patient care includes teams of specialists in otolaryngology, other surgical disciplines, oncology, speech pathology, dentistry, radiology, audiology, nutrition and nursing. Our multidisciplinary efforts maximize our translational, comprehensive understanding and treatment of disease of the ear, nose and throat.  Our faculty works closely with the Saskatchewan Hearing Aid Plan, Saskatchewan Pediatric Auditory Rehabilitation Center (SPARC) and the Cochlear Implant Program.

Our faculty significantly contributes to undergraduate teaching as well as to postgraduate trainining in family medicine and pediatrics.

Most clinical activity for the Division of Otolaryngology is based at St. Paul’s Hospital with the exception of selected pediatric cases and hearing test services which are based at the Royal University Hospital site.
