About

Dr. Camille Hamula is a clinical microbiologist with 10 years of experience in a hospital setting in both Canada and the United States. She is also the Provincial Clinical Lead for Laboratory Quality and Safety in the Saskatchewan Health Authority.

Clinical Interests

Dr. Hamula's clinical interests include Sexually Transmitted Infections, Women's Health, Bacteriology, Antimicrobial Resistance and method development and evaluation of molecular diagnostics.

Research

Dr. Hamula has published extensively on novel diagnostics for infectious pathogens and has written clinical guidelines for diagnosis of congenital and neurosyphilis as well as detection of anaerobes in clinical specimens and blood cultures.
