About

Dr. Gordon is a medical oncologist that joined the Saskatoon Cancer Centre December 2024 after 13 years of practice at CancerCare Manitoba. She has been actively involved in Medical Education since the beginning of her career, 1st as site director and post graduate medical education lead, than as undergraduate medical oncology course lead, and finally as program director for the University of Manitoba, Rady faculty of Medicine. She accepted the position as program director for the medical oncology program at the University of Saskatchewan until 2027. She brings with her a high level of excitement and love of teaching and a strong desire to see future medical oncologists develop their skills to contribute to the discipline.

She completed medical school and training in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology at the University of Manitoba, and subspecialty training in gastrointestinal oncology and breast oncology also at CancerCare Manitoba, and head and neck oncology at the University of Toronto. She is clinically involved actively in the head and neck, breast and gastro-intestinal disease site groups as well as endocrine disease sites. Dr. Gordon has participated in Clinical Practice Guidelines Development at CancerCare Manitoba and participates in consensus guidelines yearly with the Western Canadian Colorectal and Gastric Cancer Committee.
