About
Dr. Hunter graduated from medical school at the University of Saskatchewan with great distinction in 2004, and completed neurology residency in 2009. He then completed a fellowship in Neurocritical Care with Dr. Bryan Young at the University of Western Ontario in 2010 and obtained certification in electroencephalography.
Since returning to Saskatoon he has served as residency program director since 2011, being recognized as program director of the year in 2016. He is an active member of Saskatoon Stroke and Epilepsy programs and is medical director of inpatient neurology.
Clinical and research interests include prognostication after cardiac arrest, seizures and status epilepticus, neurocritical care, and acute stroke.
