About

Dr. Tai grew up in Saskatoon. After completing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, she worked for a short time in the oil and gas industry in Alberta.  She then returned to Saskatoon to pursue further undergraduate studies in Mathematics, before completing her M.D. and internal medicine residency at the U of S.  Dr. Tai received her nephrology fellowship training in Calgary, after which she pursued further clinical training in conventional hemodialysis and vascular access as a "Clinical Scholar" in Calgary.  She was a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Nephrology at the University of Calgary, while she completed a Masters degree (in physiology of Hemodialysis).  Dr. Tai returned to Saskatoon to join the Division of Nephrology in 2012.  Her clinical and scholarly interests are in Hemodialysis and Vascular Access.
