How to Apply?
To qualify for reimbursement from the student travel fund, you must be presenting(ed) a poster or oral presentation on your research.
In advance of the conference, provide the following to the UGME Office (contact below):
- Completed Authority to Travel Form which is then sent to the Associate Dean for approval.
- Approval for absence from class to attend conference.
- Copy of poster being presented at conference.
- Name/Location/Dates of conference as well as travel dates
- Date of Birth
After the conference, provide the following:
- Receipts totaling at least $500.
When will the funds be dispersed?
Due to high demand and limited funds, recipients will be selected via a lottery system.

- First lottery draw: June 30 (Term 1)
- Second lottery draw: December 30 (Term 2)
All applicants will be notified of the outcome—whether selected for reimbursement or not—following each draw.
Note: students are only allowed to access this fund once during their undergraduate program
