How to Apply?

To qualify for reimbursement from the student travel fund, you must be presenting(ed) a poster or oral presentation on your research.

In advance of the conference, provide the following to the UGME Office (contact below):

  1. Completed Authority to Travel Form which is then sent to the Associate Dean for approval.
  2. Approval for absence from class to attend conference.
  3. Copy of poster being presented at conference.
  4. Name/Location/Dates of conference as well as travel dates
  5. Date of Birth

After the conference, provide the following:

  1. Receipts totaling at least $500.

When will the funds be dispersed?

Due to high demand and limited funds, recipients will be selected via a lottery system.

    • First lottery draw: June 30 (Term 1)
    • Second lottery draw: December 30 (Term 2)

All applicants will be notified of the outcome—whether selected for reimbursement or not—following each draw.

Note: students are only allowed to access this fund once during their undergraduate program
