Keynote speaker: Dr. Catherine Varner, MD, CCFP(EM), MSc
Dr. Catherine Varner is an emergency physician at Mount Sinai Hospital and Associate Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto. She is the Deputy Director and a Clinician Scientist of the Schwartz / Reisman Emergency Medicine Institute (SREMI) at Mount Sinai Hospital and the Deputy Editor of the Canadian Medical Association Journal (CMAJ). Her research focus is emergency department care of pregnant patients.
