Neurosurgery

The Division of Neurosurgery has a long history of research across a range of neurosurgical disciplines with particular focus on stroke and spine surgery research. Neurosurgery research is now spread across a number of sub-disciplines including fundamental research on the control of movement, outcomes in spine surgery, new techniques in functional neurosurgery and clinical trials in spinal cord injury and stroke. In addition to being Department Head, Dr. Michael Kelly is the Knight Family Enhancement Chair in Neurological Surgery.
