Provincial Department Head Message

I am excited to have been appointed the new Provincial Head of Surgery. The department will continue to build on its prior success.

Our priorities will continue to be exemplary surgical care, research, education, and quality improvement. We will prioritize initiatives for departmental Wellness, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.

I would like to recognize the excellence of all the members of our department including faculty, residents, graduate students, medical students, undergraduate students, and all other staff that help the department succeed on a daily basis.
