The next faculty research day will be held on Friday, May 3, 2024.
- Each faculty member can submit one abstract. Please indicate if you prefer poster or oral presentation.
- The abstract should be 300 words or less and can be about recent or ongoing research projects. This can include work in progress, new results, or previously presented research.
- All abstracts will be included in an abstract book and shared ahead of the event.
Please submit your abstract to Dr. Ozlem Sari, DoM Research Facilitator by Friday, April 12, 2024.
Keynote Address
Dr. Scott Napper
Dr. Scott Napper holds a joint position at the University of Saskatchewan as a Professor of Biochemistry as well as Senior Scientist at the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Organization- International Vaccine Center (VIDO-InterVac). A protein biochemist by training, his research interests are based in the application of structure-function investigations within the context of infection and immunity.
2023 Award Winners
The 2023 Faculty Research Day was held on Friday, May 3. Awards were presented at the Department of Medicine's Annual Banquet. Congratulations to the following Research Day winners:
- First place presentation: Dr. Niels Koehncke (Canadian Centre for Health and Safety in Agriculture)
- Second place presentation: Dr. Bhanu Prasad (Nephrology, Regina)
- Third place presentation: Dr. Linden Kolbenson (GIM, Saskatoon)
