About
I am a general surgeon in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan since 2006 and completed my undergraduate education in South Africa. After medical school in Manipal, India and houseman ship in Durban, South Africa I went into family practice in rural South Africa for two years before returning to do my surgical residency at the Nelson Mandela Medical school from 2000 to 2005.
My family migrated to Prince Albert in 2006.
I spent 2007/2008 working as a trauma surgeon in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia at University of Malaya Medical centre and then returned to Prince Albert in 2008.
My practice encompasses all aspects of rural surgery including endoscopy and rural clinics. My surgical interests are hernia and laparoscopic surgery.
I also participate in the teaching of undergraduate medical students, surgery residents and acute care fellows.
In January 2019 I became a council member of the college of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan.
