Dr. D'Arcy was with the Department of Psychiatry for more than three decades.
Dr. D’Arcy published almost 200 manuscripts and the number of publications has been increased 3.5 times in the past five decades. Eighteen manuscripts were generated by trainees under Dr. D’Arcy’s supervision in 2022. His research work was cited by peers 8461 times.
His research interests were focused primarily on the effect of physical activity on reducing the prevalence of mental disorders, determinants of successful aging among Canadians, the structure of psychological well-being and minor depression.
He is the Academic Director for The Saskatchewan Research Data Centre (SKY-RDC), a research data platform where data can be used to investigate a wide range of demographic, social, economic and health-related topics.
