Dr. Khalil received his medical degree from the University of Cairo and went on to complete his residency at the University of Saskatchewan in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is certified as a specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation through the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He has a clinical appointment as an Assistant Professor with the University of Saskatchewan College of Medicine.
Dr. Khalil completed additional fellowship training in Pain, Spine and Sport Medicine with Healthpointe Medical - University of Alberta. Dr. Khalil also completed his American Board of Independent Medical Examiners (ABIME) and is a Certified Independent Medical Examiner (CIME).
His clinical practice includes interventional pain management, sport medicine, spasticity management, and complex neuro-musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
