Anthony grew up in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. He completed an undergraduate degree in Chemistry with a minor in Mathematics at the University of Saskatchewan, and was on the wrestling team. He then went on to complete his medical education at the U of S. During this time he became passionate about developing personalized approaches to help patients maximize their quality of life.

In his free time he enjoys baking, watching and playing sports (especially soccer when Arsenal FC are playing), and video games.
