Adnan graduated from the Aga Khan University Medical College, Karachi in 1994. He completed his training in Internal Medicine at Stony Brook University in Stony Brook,  NY and Medical Oncology and Hematology training at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee WI.   He is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. He previously worked with Eastern Health and Memorial University St. John’s NL. Adnan joined the Saskatoon Cancer Center in 2013 as medical oncologist. His area of interest are gastrointestinal oncology and thoracic oncology. . He is also part of the Saskatoon Cancer Center Clinical trial group. He has held several research grants. In addition to patients care he is committed to medical education and looks after residents and students rotating through Medical Oncology.
