About

I am a Manchester UK trained Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with interest in Laparoscopic surgery, medical education, clinical governance, and risk management.
I am a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada and also a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and the British Society of Gynaecology Endoscopy.
My passion for medical leadership led me to complete a formal course in leadership and management provided by Manchester Business School. I have effectively utilized my leadership abilities in roles such as Trust Maternity Safety Champion and as a member of the greater Manchester and East Cheshire network dashboard meetings. These roles allowed me to contribute significantly by analysing trends, implementing changes, and driving the success of the Maternity transformation programme. I was the erstwhile Gynaecology Governance lead at Warrington Hospital UK.
My commitment to education and mentorship led me to obtain a Postgraduate Certificate in Workplace Based Medical Education from Edgehill University. I am adept at tailoring my teaching approach to different learning styles while imparting knowledge to junior colleagues.
