About
Originally English, Bruce started his career as a theoretical mathematician then a professional editor. After medical school in Calgary, he completed FRCP Emergency Medicine and Critical Care in Kingston. His interests are delivery of clinical care and quality assurance with CPSI and CQIP certifications. His projects have included prioritization of ECGs and establishment of rapid access clinics. He has held positions as operations exec/assistant chief emergency medicine, clinical director of CHIRPP program, clinical lead for code team. In 2019, he was awarded the CPSS Distinguished Service Award for physician leadership and engagement in quality improvements.
