About
Dr. Chung-Chun (Anderson) Tyan
After completing his Respirology Fellowship at the University of Western Ontario, 2014, Dr. Tyan pursued training in Interventional Pulmonary Medicine mentored under Dr. Kazuhiro Yasufuku at University of Toronto, 2014-2015. Dr. Tyan joined the division of Respirology, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine in 2016. Since joining the division, Dr. Tyan has been involved in research, teaching and clinical care.
Dr. Tyan’s clinical priority is to care for patients with lung cancer, lung nodule, mediastinal disease, pleural disease and central airway disease. He is working to bring and continually advance minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to treat his patients. Dr. Tyan is currently involved in a study to assess patients with suspected lung cancer through telehealth. He is also conducting research on quality improvement to address patient wait time and procedure time to minimal invasive bronchoscopic diagnostic testing.
