Anne PausJenssen received her MD at the University of Saskatchewan in 1993.  She went to Queen’s University to study Internal Medicine and completed her training at the University of Toronto in 1997.  While in Toronto she obtained a Master’s of Science in Health Administration in 2000.  Her area of interest was on Ontario’s formulary listing decisions and the role of health economic analysis in the listing process.  She was a member of Ontario’s formulary committee and was on faculty at the University of Toronto  before returning home to Saskatoon in 2001.  Anne continues to have an interest in health economics and has served on the Drug Advisory Committee of Saskatchewan since she returned.  She has been an examiner for internal medicine with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons since 2004.  Anne is also interested in medical education and was the program director of General Internal Medicine from 2007-2012.  She does both hospital and outpatient clinical work in the Saskatoon Health Region.
