About

Dr. Linas Kumeliauskas, MD, FRCPC is originally from Lithuania, where he attended Lithuanian University of Health Sciences for his graduate degree as a Medical Doctor. Linas later completed a residency in General Internal Medicine followed by a fellowship in Gastroenterology at Vilnius University in Vilnius, Lithuania and continued his education in Italy and UK. After several years of practice as a Gastroenterologist in Vilnius, he moved to Canada to pursue further practice in medicine.

After completing his Residency Training Program in Calgary, Alberta he started independent practice as a General Internist in Regina, Saskatchewan and assumed the role of Assistant Professor at the University of Saskatchewan.

Linas resides in Regina, SK with his wife, and enjoys life with his son and daughter. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, and hiking.
