Faculty Governance

One Faculty

Faculty in the College of Medicine are part of the One Faculty model which ensures that regardless of modality of payment, department, or location in the province, they have the same rights and freedoms conferred and will be evaluated by the same standards for career advancement and recognition. Within the One Faculty model there are two main forms of governance:

1. Faculty members who are employed by the university are governed by:
   
   • University of Saskatchewan Faculty Association (USFA)
   • USask Policies (MF/USFA)
2. Medical faculty who are not employees of the university are governed by:
   
   • Medical Faculty Policy (MF)
   • Medical Faculty Procedures (MF)
   • USask Policies (MF/USFA)
