Getting to know Janna Ethier
Sr. Admin - Residency Training Program 

I was born and raised in Saskatoon but spent 10+ years in Central Alberta.  I worked for Alberta Health Services in Mountain View & Clearwater Counties, serving all healthcare facilities in Olds, Sundre and Rocky Mountain House with an additional focus on Accreditation, encompassing all of Central Zone.

Since joining the Internal Medicine team as the Senior Administrator for the Residency Training Program, I’ve been spending my time supporting our residents and the Program Director, as well as identifying and implementing process improvements.  I am happy to report that I have managed to survive my first cycle of CaRMS, Accreditation and scheduling for the next academic year!

I spend my time outside of work with my husband and our dog, Bear.  We enjoy time spent with family and friends – especially at the lake – hiking and travelling.  I also spend my personal time throwing and hand building pottery, and developing my photography skills.
