Mr. Gregory Power
Chief Operating Officer

Gregory Power became the chief operating officer for the college of medicine in April 2016.  Prior to that, he spent five years as the director of information technology at Dalhousie University’s Faculty of Medicine in a role where he supported curricular renewal, the creation and operationalization of a new campus site, and transformed information technology services to enable distributed medical education across Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island.  Before moving into senior administrative roles in higher education, he led a business and information technology consulting practice in Atlantic Canada, serving public sector clients and also provided senior business consulting services to a diverse array of organizations across Canada and in the United States.

A Chartered Professional Accountant, he has extensive experience in leading the finance, human resources, information technology, communications, project management and administration functions for large organizations.
