About
Shayan was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan, the son of two first generation immigrants from Iran. His academic career includes one year of general sciences and humanities at the University of Regina before moving to Saskatoon and completing 3 years of Pharmacy school. He then entered medical school and completed all four years of training in Saskatoon.
He is honoured to continue working and learning in his home province of Saskatchewan with our Emergency Medicine program. His areas of interest include Addictions Medicine and its integration within the ED and Medical Education, and he is excited to explore other various niches within Emergency Medicine.
Outside of work, he loves connecting with friends over coffee and competitive video games, going for walks with his family, and enjoying the newest horror movie.
