Strategic planning: what we’ve heard
In January, we kicked off the development of our next strategic plan with Phase One — information gathering.
During this phase we engaged with our college community to listen and learn about your vision and hopes for our future. We’ve had input from alumni, learners, faculty, staff, and leaders — through interviews, a survey and a series of future-focus conversations.
Several key themes have emerged from the main questions:
- In 5-10 years, what would you love to hear people say about the College of Medicine?
- What do you see as key focus areas for the college in the next 5-10 years?
We will use this feedback to draft a refreshed vision, mission, and set of strategic priorities. We are also working with our Values Champions (listed below) to refine our core values and translate them into clear, observable behaviours.
Thanks again for your interest and involvement, stay-tuned for additional opportunities to provide feedback on our draft plan. We want to hear from from faculty, staff, alumni and students.
