About
Jess is a resident in the Family Medicine - Emergency Medicine (FM-EM) program at the University of Saskatchewan (USask) in Saskatoon. Prior to returning to the +1 year program, Jess was working as a family doctor in a busy downtown Toronto family health team and working in emergency department 45 minutes east of Toronto. Jess completed her family medicine residency at St. Michael's hospital at the university of Toronto and her undergrad medicine at McMaster.
Before medicine, Jess completed her master's in public health and worked in both health care research and health policy. Her medical interests include point of care ultrasound, critical care, and transport medicine. Outside of medicine she enjoys spending time with her two sons, travelling and cooking.
