The purpose of this two-day interactive workshop is to introduce evidence-based approaches to design, implement
and evaluate educational sessions and to enhance participants' skills as medical educators

Participants will be able to:

  • Design learning sessions , including large and small group platforms, by applying evidence on how people learn
  • Describe the principles of competency-based medical education
  • Write high quality objectives and effectively link objectives, teaching methods and assessment tools
  • Select appropriate teaching methods based on the domains of learning
  • Develop a plan for assessing learner s and outline an assessment blueprint
  • Effectively apply best practices in the assessment of clinical and practical skills
  • Identify potential implementation issues
