Asian Heritage Month
The Division of Social Accountability welcomes all to join us throughout May in Celebrating Asian Heritage Month!
This May, we celebrate Asian Heritage Month, a time to recognize and honour the rich histories, cultures, and contributions of Asian communities across Canada. This is a time to increase our awareness of the diversity within Asian communities and uplift and celebrate the many achievements and contributions of the Asian community to our campus, province, and beyond. This month also provides an opportunity to reflect on past and present injustices and amplify voices that have often been overlooked.
Asian Heritage Month supports education, equity, and respect by highlighting how Asian heritage is an integral and rich part of our shared history.
The Division of Social Accountability invites all members of the College of Medicine to join us in a month of learning and celebration this Asian Heritage Month.
