Innovative Surgical Learning

Planning a program that includes hands-on surgical training or related activities? The Surgical Skills Laboratory (SSL) is the ideal space to book.

Master advanced techniques and explore cutting-edge medical technology in a realistic, hands-on environment.

Cadaveric tissue provides an exceptional learning experience for mastering complex surgical techniques. Working with real human or animal tissue allows learners to gain invaluable tactile experience, deepen their understanding of anatomical structures, and refine their skills in a safe, supervised environment.
Cadaver
Experience authentic anatomy and refine surgical skills with fresh-frozen cadaveric tissue for unparalleled realism.

A strong foundation in anatomy is essential for successful surgical practice, and the SSL offers exceptional resources to support this learning. Our comprehensive cadaveric prosection inventory and anatomical models allow learners to explore anatomy in detail.

To enhance realism, we provide non-embalmed or lightly embalmed (fresh-frozen) cadaveric materials, offering a tactile and authentic representation of human anatomy. This hands-on approach helps learners develop surgical skills, understand tissue structure and behavior, and practice procedures in a safe, supervised environment.

The Surgical Skills Laboratory (SSL) delivers hands-on surgical training, anatomy review, and device demonstrations using cadaveric tissue, simulators, and advanced resources.
Skills

Elevate your expertise through immersive surgical workshops and anatomy reviews in a cutting-edge training environment.

The Surgical Skills Laboratory (SSL) provides a state-of-the-art environment for practicing a wide range of surgical techniques—from suturing and general surgery to orthopedic, neurosurgical, otolaryngology, and plastic surgery procedures—using both task simulators and cadaveric tissue.

For external partners and industry representatives, the SSL is an ideal venue for medical device training and product demonstrations, especially when working with cadaveric specimens.

Our facility supports advanced procedures such as cardiac, thoracic, urology, vascular, and trauma surgeries, offering a realistic, hands-on experience. Specialized training across all surgical disciplines is available upon request, with opportunities to refine advanced skills using anatomical models and cadaveric materials. The SSL’s comprehensive setup ensures effective training while showcasing medical devices in real-world applications.
