Getting to Know: Jeanette Neufeld
Jeanette Neufeld is the communications specialist for the Department of Medicine.

I’ve worked in the department since October 2022, and really enjoyed my time getting to know everyone here. A big highlight is emceeing the annual banquet each year.
My background is in media – I hold a Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Regina and was a reporter for both CBC Radio and The Saskatoon StarPhoenix. Before joining the department, I worked in communications for the Western College of Veterinary Medicine (WCVM), a job that had many parallels to human medicine but with a much cuter patient population.
Outside of work I spend most of my time taking care of my two young children. We enjoy family bike rides and time at the lake, either boating or snowmobiling depending on the season.
