About

Dr. Lauren Zarnett was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. She moved to Hamilton, Ontario, where she earned her Bachelor of Health Sciences and Doctor of Medicine degrees at McMaster University. She then pursued a neurosurgery residency at Western University in London, Ontario, utilizing her mid-residency research period to obtain a Master of Science in Epidemiology and Clinical Research from Stanford University in California.

After returning to London to complete her residency, Dr. Zarnett pursued a Neurotrauma fellowship at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. She then completed a second fellowship in Complex Spinal Surgery with the combined orthopaedic and neurosurgery spine team at Western University. Following this, she remained in London, Ontario for a year as a staff neurosurgeon at the London Spine Centre before relocating to Regina in 2024.
Dr. Zarnett practices general neurosurgery, with a particular focus on traumatic brain and spine injuries. She is committed to improving patient education and comprehension to support individualized care.

Outside of work, she enjoys yoga, hiking, and spending time with her beloved pets.
