Dr. Wunder is originally from a farm near Theodore, Saskatchewan and completed both Undergraduate and Medical degrees at the University of Saskatchewan. He also holds an Associateship to the Royal Conservatory of Toronto (ARCT) in Piano Performance.
He has been practicing at Wascana Rehabilitation Centre since the completion of his training. He is involved in teaching at the College of Medicine at the undergraduate level and has been the Program Director for the residency training program since November 2016. He has initiated changes in the structure and design of the outpatient clinic at Wascana. He has an interest in technology in medicine and has served in various roles including co-chair of the standards committee for the Provincial Computerized Orders Management project and pandemic virtual care physician co-lead. He is currently a member of the Saskatchewan Medical Association's EMR Co-Management Committee, and is the clinical informatics lead for the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is also currently enrolled in the Clinician Educator AFC Program through the University of Saskatchewan.
In his spare time, he enjoys gardening, home design and renovation, traveling, and technology.
