Biography

Dr. Kraushaar obtained her undergraduate training, majoring in Biology, at the University of Regina.  She then received her Medical Doctorate (MD) degree in 2007 at the University of Saskatchewan and was awarded the PM&R Award.  She completed her residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the University of Saskatchewan in June 2012.  

Dr. Kraushaar has been practicing in Regina at Wascana Rehabilitation Centre since completion of her training. She is very interested in medical education and teaches both medical students and residents. She has been the Area Department Lead of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in Regina since 2016. She is an Associate Member of the Department of Community Health and Epidemiology at the University of Saskatchewan. She is a member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Specialty Committee in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She is the Regina site coordinator for the Clerkship Leadership Elective and the faculty wellness representative for the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency Training Program. She is also enrolled in the Clinician Educator AFC Program through the University of Saskatchewan.

In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, decorating and home design, and is an active participant in her family business.
