About

Dr. Alyssa Zucchet (she/her) is a Developmental Pediatrician in the Alvin Buckwold Child Development Program. She earned her medical degree at the University of British Columbia in Kelowna, completed her General Pediatrics residency in Saskatoon, and recently finished her Developmental Pediatrics subspecialty training at the Sunny Hill Health Centre at BC Children’s Hospital.

Her clinical work spans the breadth of developmental pediatrics, including assessment and management of complex developmental conditions, autism, neuromotor diagnoses, and previous experience in inpatient rehabilitation care. She has a particular interest in health equity and access to care, which has influenced both her current and prior research.

Outside of medicine, she enjoys hiking, skiing, and practicing yoga.
