Deepti Ravi comes to USask from Toronto. She completed her medical school from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland followed by residency in General Pathology at McMaster University. She has completed two fellowships - a research fellowship in Applied Molecular Oncology which was funded by the Terry Fox Research Foundation, Canada. Her second fellowship was clinical and in surgical pathology with sub-specialty focus in Gastrointestinal, Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Pathology from the University of Toronto. 

Dr. Ravi is now a specialised GI/HPB Pathologist at Saskatoon City Hospital and she leads the GI/HPB Pathology team. In addition she has taken on the role of Program Director for the Surgical Pathology Fellowship Program starting July 1, 2021. She is also an Assistant Professor at University of Saskatchewan.
