Sarah Smith BSChE, MD, FRCSC
Assistant Professor Obstetrics & Gynecology

Sarah was born in North Battleford, Saskatchewan and grew up in Unity. A prairie girl, she completed her BSc in Chemical Engineering in Saskatoon and then entered medical school at the University of Saskatchewan. She went on to complete her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in Regina. Dr. Smith has a diverse gynecology practice and practices both high and low risk obstetrics. She is actively involved in teaching both at the undergraduate and residency education levels with the University of Saskatchewan. Dr. Smith has a strong interest in clinical research in obstetrics and gynecology and is currently involved in research in minimally invasive gynecology and chronic pelvic pain.
