Sarah Smith BSChE, MD, FRCSC

Dr. Sarah Smith is an obstetrician gynecologist in Regina. A prairie girl, she was born and raised in Saskatchewan completing both her engineering and medical degrees, and obstetrics and gynecology residency in province. Dr. Smith has a diverse gynecology practice with interests in family planning, transgender care, and minimally invasive surgery. She also practices high risk obstetrics including caring for marginalized populations and leading the invasive placenta team.

Dr. Smith is an Assistant Professor at the University of Saskatchewan and enjoys clinical teaching especially in her role as Regina Simulation Coordinator for the obstetrics and gynecology residency program. Dr. Smith has an active clinical research program in Regina and is the Research Director for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Saskatchewan. She is the Chair for the Obstetrics and Gynecology section of the Saskatchewan Medical Association and leads the local journal club.
