Dr. Michael J. Sloan BSc, MD, FRCPC

Michael J. Sloan, MD, BSc (Hons), FRCPC is an interventional radiologist at Royal University Hospital.

Dr. Sloan received his MD and BSc (Hons) from Memorial University of Newfoundland (MUN). He completed a diagnostic radiology residency at MUN and subsequently completed a fellowship in interventional radiology at the University of British Columbia.

Dr. Sloan joined University Medical Imaging Consultants and primarily works at Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon doing a mix of subspecialty interventional radiology and diagnostic radiology. He holds the position of Assistant Professor with the University of Saskatchewan and has a keen interest in resident supervision and teaching.

His clinical interests are in the treatment of liver cancer, fibroid embolization, pulmonary embolism, and various other minimally invasive, image-guided endovascular and percutaneous therapies.
