Education

My initial training was actually in the field of education. I completed a Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Science (Biology Major and Chemistry Minor) at the University of Saskatchewan prior to attending medical school. After a short period of being a high school science teacher, I shifted my career to medicine. I attended undergrad at the University of Saskatchewan (Regina site) and completed the majority of my clerkship in Prince Albert. I then moved back to my hometown of Swift Current to complete my Family Medicine residency training which is where I now practice.
