Dr. Ryan Toews MD, BScN, CCFP (EM)
Assistant Professor Emergency Medicine

I was born and raised in Medicine Hat Alberta. I completed my undergrad degree in Nursing at the University of Calgary. I then attended medical school at St. George’s University. I did my first year in Newcastle UK, second year in Grenada, and my clerkship in Detroit Michigan. I did my Family Medicine residency in Swift Current SK and my Emergency Medicine training in Regina SK. I am currently practicing as an Emergency Physician in Regina and Yorkton.

I work for Medical Training Express teaching OSCE and MCCQE1 exams. I am involved in academic half day and sim lab teaching both in Regina and Yorkton.
