About

Dr. Brent Thoma works clinically as an emergency and trauma physician and has a decade of experience as an educator, researcher, and leader. As the interim Associate Dean of PGME at TMU, he led the development and accreditation of the first new PGME office in Canada in >15 years along with its first 16 residency programs. His education includes Master's degrees in both Leadership (Royal Roads University) and Health Professions Education (Massachusetts General Hospital Institute) as well as a PhD (Flinders University).
