About
Dr. Brady Bouchard is a family physician with added competency in both Addictions and Emergency Medicine living and practicing in North Battleford, Saskatchewan. He holds an electrical engineering degree from the University of Alberta, a medical degree from the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia, and a Master of Public Health from Imperial College London.
Dr. Bouchard started his clinical practice as a rural family physician in remote First Nations communities throughout British Columbia and Saskatchewan before settling down in North Battleford. During his first years in practice, he was fortunate to serve his colleagues on various committees as well as on the Board of Directors of the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC), and was the President of the CFPC for 2021-22. He is currently a Board Director for the Saskatchewan Medical Association.
Dr. Bouchard has also served in numerous clinical leadership roles. He is currently the Provincial Emergency Medicine Addictions and Vulnerable Populations Lead, the Provincial OAT Priority Project Team Physician Medical Director Lead, and the Provincial Medical Director (Pharmacy). He finds teaching and quality improvement to be some of the most fulfilling aspects of medicine, and regularly teaches medical students and residents as part of the University of Saskatchewan Family Medicine Residency program, and travels around the province working with clinical staff on quality improvement related to harm reduction and substance use.
