Dr. Sophie Collins (she/her) BSc, MSc, PhD
Assistant Professor Respirology and Sleep MedicineAbout
Dr. Sophie Collins is an assistant professor in the Division of Respirology and Sleep Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan. Her research training and expertise span integrative clinical physiology and respiratory epidemiology. The overarching goal of her research program is to advance understanding of the complex relationships between respiratory structure and function, shortness of breath (dyspnea), and exercise capacity in health and chronic cardiorespiratory disease. Her work uses prospective physiological and imaging studies, as well as large population-based cohorts, to investigate physiological hypotheses and identify and evaluate treatable traits.
