About
Dr. Guzowski is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology. He trained in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology at Queen's University in Kingston, ON and at the University of Ottawa, Ottawa, ON respectively.
He worked as a general internist and gastroenterologist in the Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Abu Dhabi and Europe throughout his career.
He is a Doctoral Candidate at the University of Calgary, currently pursuing a Doctorate in Education.
He continues to practice Internal Medicine and supervises residents on the Clinical Teaching Unit.
His major occupation, however, is the practice of clinical gastroenterology. His special interests are Point of Care Ultrasonography (POCUS), as well as Intestinal Ultrasonography. He provides Intestinal Ultrasound to Crohn's and Colitis patients at the university's Inflammatory Bowel Disease clinic.
