Dr. Mohammad Khan is Saskatchewan Health AUthority's medical health officer for the NorthEast. He has been working in this position since 2003 in Melfort. Dr. Khan began his medical career in Pakistan where he received his MB, BS degree and clinical training. He obtained his Master in Public Health and MBA from the United States then moved to Canada in 2000. He worked as consultant with the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care and as a Health Promotion Officer in Ontario. Dr. Khan also has postgraduate diplomas in Public Administration, stress management and infection prevention and control and Master of Health Science degree in Bioethics.

Clinical Interests

Dr. Khan is passionate about addressing social determinants of health, promoting health equity to improve health of the communities, and promoting public health ethics in the province.
