Dr. Yuzhuo Wang, Ph.D., F.C.A.H.S., is a Distinguished Scientist at BC Cancer, Senior Scientist at the Vancouver
Prostate Centre, and Professor in the Department of Urologic Sciences at the University of British Columbia. He is also the Founder and Director of the internationally recognized Living Tumor Laboratory, which has generated more than 300 next-generation patientderived xenograft models representing diverse malignancies.
Dr. Wang's research focuses on cancer biology, tumor dormancy and progression, patient-derived cancer models, and translational therapeutics. His work has led to the identification of multiple therapeutic targets and the development of new strategies for cancer treatment. He has published 259 peer-reviewed papers with a H-index of 95 and is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences.
