PGME Training

The Postgraduate Medical Education (PGME) program at the College of Medicine, University of Saskatchewan, offers comprehensive training designed to equip future and current residents with the skills and knowledge necessary for their medical careers. The curriculum emphasizes clinical excellence, research opportunities, and professional development, ensuring that residents are well-prepared to meet the demands of modern healthcare. PGME Programs

The College of Medicine offers a wide selection of training opportunities in Family Medicine, along with Royal College specialty and subspecialty programs. All training programs are recognized by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the College of Family Physicians of Canada. The duration of training varies from two years for Family Medicine to four to seven years for other specialties and sub-specialties.
