About SLIC Meadow Lake Location


The Physicians of Meadow Lake provide a variety of care to patients in the community and surrounding areas. The group service several outyling community satellite clinics, including the communities of Waterhen Lake First Nation, Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation, Canoe Lake First Nation, Green Lake, and Goodsoil. 

Students participating in SLIC in Meadow Lake will be integrated into Family Medicine in all areas, where they will experience the full scope of practice that physicians in the community provide including ER, Hospitalist, Clinic, OR Surgery and Anesthesia, Primary and Longterm Care.

CLINIC
The Meadow Lake Primary Health Care Centre (Meadow Lake Clinic) is located in downtown Meadow Lake. All physicians located in Meadow Lake provide Primary Care services to the clinic. As a Primary Health Care Facility, Meadow Lake Clinic boasts an abundance of allied-health care professionals such as: Dietician, Mental Health Counsellor, Chronic Disease Management, Diabetic Educator, Social Worker, and Pharmacist.

As a teaching site of the University of Saskatchewan, the Meadow Lake Clinic hosts students and resident physicians throughout their Rural Family Medicine Rotations and Electives throughout the year. Learners will have opportunities for peer-to-peer mentorship as they work alongside other residents and students during their rotations.

  • Each condo has 2 bedrooms.
  • Occassionally, sharing is required in the condos when there are multiple learners.
