Undergraduate Student Associations

Looking to connect with students in your program? Our department is home to two undergraduate student associations, which organize fun opportunities and events during the academic year.

Biochemistry Student Association (BSA)

Join the Biochemistry Student Association and participate in various activities to enrich the student experience. These include a career night, tutorial sessions, mentoring and social events. Meet, interact and socialize with fellow students and professors.

  • If you are interested in joining the BSA executive, or want a description of the positions, please email: uofsbsa@gmail.com.

The BSA is a really rewarding experience and a great way to meet your peers and professors (it also looks fabulous on a resume!)

Microbiology & Immunology Student Association (MISA)

Becoming involved in MISA is very rewarding, and a great way to meet your peers and professors through social events, learning about career opportunities, access to past exams, and more.

Graduate Student Association (GSA)

The Graduate Student Association (GSA) provides professional, academic, and social activities and services, and promotes awareness of issues relevant to graduate students.

Other ways to get involved

There are many ways you can get involved and meet new people and have fun. From student groups including international student groups, to volunteer opportunities, to socializing through Campus Rec and the arts. It's easy to find people with common interests at USask.
